Privacy Policy

Effective July 23, 2026

Blockchain Latest News is a news website. We collect the smallest amount of personal data we can while still running the site — this page explains what that is and why.

What we collect

  • Standard request logs. Our web server records the usual: IP address, request path, referrer, user agent, timestamp. Kept for up to 30 days for security and debugging, then rotated out.
  • Analytics. We use privacy-respecting analytics to count page views and understand which stories readers find useful. No cross-site tracking, no advertising IDs.
  • Newsletter signups. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address for the sole purpose of sending it to you.
  • Contact form. When you email us or use the contact form, we keep the message and your email so we can reply.

What we do NOT do

  • Sell your data to anyone.
  • Build advertising profiles on you.
  • Share your reading habits with third parties.
  • Load third-party trackers you didn't opt into.

Cookies

We use a small number of first-party cookies for essentials like remembering your language preference and whether you've dismissed the cookie banner. Details are on the Cookie Policy page. You can clear them anytime from your browser.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time to show you what personal data we hold on you, correct it, or delete it. Email privacy@blockchainlatestnews.com from the address you used with us and we'll act within 30 days.

Retention

Newsletter subscribers stay on file until they unsubscribe. Contact-form messages are kept for up to two years. Server logs rotate after 30 days.

Where the data lives

Our servers are hosted in the European Union. If you're reading from elsewhere, your data still lives on those servers.

Changes

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the effective date at the top and — for significant changes — note it on the homepage for a week.
